Strengths Discovery Workshop
An enjoyable, engaging way to help colleagues understand each other better and think about how to improve the ways they work.
In person or online.
The self-knowledge provided by a CliftonStrengths Assessment gives individuals powerful insight into how they can make their most effective contribution at work.
Applying this knowledge doesn’t just make people more productive, it’s proven to boost engagement and satisfaction at work.
As a Leader, understanding the strengths of your colleagues is going to give you the key to unlocking their potential and help you get the best from those around you.
We’ll discuss current goals and challenges and what you’d like to gain from your Strengths Discovery Workshop so we can tailor the approach to your specific needs and objectives.
This will be followed up by a proposal and recommendations.
I offer a complimentary Team Intro to provide an overview of the strengths approach to development and why it's so different to conventional approaches. This helps you effectively position the work we'll be doing and engage your team in the process in readiness for discovering their individual strengths.
This is typically a 15-20 minute slot (attended virtually) at one of your team meetings.
CliftonStrengths Assessment
As part of the scope, you will select from either the Top 5 report or the comprehensive All34 report.
Each team member will take the CliftonStrengths Assessment and receive their own personalised report.
As the team's manager, reports of the teams collective strengths will be prepared for you.
One - To - One Coaching
The strengths assessment can be followed by one to one coaching. This helps build rapport and a level of comfort in discussing Strengths ahead of the workshop. This will usually help team members to:
Develop familiarity and understanding of their unique strengths.
Help them identify how they can use their strengths in their work.
Discuss potential blind spots created by their strengths and how these might be mitigated.
Feel prepared and ready to articulate their strengths and the impact of them with their colleagues.
Team Strengths Discovery Workshop (half-day)
Facilitated to align with your current priorities, the workshop will include engaging activities that help team members:
Articulate their strengths and explore one an others.
Conversations that help the whole team to understand the talent around them including
The differences and similarities of team members
How everyone can make their best contributions
Potential ‘blind spots’ that may create difficulties or negative perceptions and how to navigate these.
Planning how individual strengths can enhance team working and the delivery of shared goals and challenges.
